Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (NMBM), wishes to establish a panel of accredited service providers to provide audio visual equipment and services at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA), a Municipal entity of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (NMBM), wishes to establish a panel of accredited service providers to provide audio visual equipment and services at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium from time to time and accordingly invites suitably qualified and experienced service providers to apply for evaluation and listing as accredited audio-visual equipment and services service providers.
The electronic RFP document, outlining the requirements is available for download by prospective bidders from the MBDA website. Alternatively, the electronic RFP document, outlining the requirements will be provided to interested bidders upon an emailed request to publictenders@mbda.co.za quoting (NMBS AV 05/21) in the subject line as well as company contact details, from Wednesday 03 November 2021. The last date for queries on this tender shall be the Monday 29 November 2021. No further queries shall be responded to after this date.
Proposals shall be evaluated based on applicants meeting certain functionality requirements and shall thereafter be evaluated on the 80/20 preference points system in accordance with the Supply Chain Management Policy of the MBDA and the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017.
A compulsory briefing session will be held via Microsoft Teams, Wednesday 10 November 2021 at 10:00. Due to COVID-19, all bidders who will be attending the compulsory briefing session MUST confirm their attendance by emailing such to publictenders@mbda.co.za and quote the tender reference number (NMBS AV 05/21) by 09:00 on Wednesday 10 November 2021. Bidders are urged to confirm attendance timeously. The onus is on bidders to ensure that confirmation of attendance is sent by the deadline. Failure to do so may result in the invitation not being sent to the bidders; and therefore, the bidder will not be eligible to bid for this tender. An attendance register will be downloaded via Microsoft Teams and will be used to confirm attendance. No attendee(s) joining after 10:15 will be allowed to tender.
Bidders who are unable to join via Microsoft Teams must notify the MBDA via publictenders@mbda.co.za by 16:00 on Tuesday 09 November 2021.
The closing date and time is Monday 06 December 2021 at 12:00; whereafter tenders will be publicly opened via Microsoft Teams. Proposals MUST be submitted on one (1) original hard copy plus one (1) copy on a USB must be placed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with “INVITATION TO APPLY TO BE LISTED ON THE ACCREDITED SERVICE PROVIDER PANELS OF THE NELSON MANDELA BAY STADIUM OPERATED BY MBDA IN RELATION TO AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES (NMBS AV 05/21)”.
FAILURE TO SUBMIT AN ORIGINAL HARD COPY AND A USB COPY WILL DEEM THE BID NON-RESPONSIVE. All responses must be placed in the MBDA tender box marked NMBS AV 05/21 on the 1st Floor, Tramways Building, Corner Lower Valley Road & South Union Street, Central, Port Elizabeth. Bids may only be submitted on bid documentation provided by the MBDA.
The MBDA office hours are 08:00 to 16:30.
No late, incomplete or facsimile bids will be accepted for consideration. The only or lowest bid received shall not necessarily be accepted. MBDA reserves the right to accept part or the full bid.
